It doesn't have to taste good
I have had some complaints that the new font I'm using for this site is too small. Please let me know if this is easier to read.
Thing didn't go as well at the shop today as I had hoped. It looks like I'm going to be in Wales until Monday or Tuesday. Afterwards, I'll probably be going to see another customer in England. I'm supposed to fly home next Wednesday. We'll take it one day at a time.
I have a cold. It has turned into a miserable cough and there doesn't seem to be a lot I can do about it. I should have anticipated this, but I didn't. Therefore, I went to the local store tonight to get some cough medicine.
Can you believe that every brand of cough medicine here is different from ours? Every single last brand... I don't know any of them. People in the UK are very kind and if you ask for a recommendation, they are more than happy to help out. Of course, I have to begin with an explanation of where I'm from and why I have such a funny accent. (The guy at the auto parts store asked me today if I was Australian. *sigh*)
The recommendation I was given was for Allen's Pine & Honey Balsam. I'm still trying to figure out where the name comes from since it tastes like neither. As a matter of fact, it tastes terrible. The efficacy awaits to be seen.
I guess I have the weekend to myself since nobody at our customer's will be working. I'll have to hop in the car and find something worth doing. I hope I feel up to it.
