The good, the bad, and the ugly
THE GOOD - My customers here are great people (Yes Chuck, they said to tell you 'hello'). They're Palestinians and they know exactly where to get absolutely, fantastic shawerma and falafel. There is a huge Arab population in Toronto and bad food is not an option for them. They took me out for dinner tonight and it was out of this world.
THE BAD - I'm not coming home until Saturday. Gina is in Mexico until the 31st. Before she gets back, I have to leave for a minimum of 3 weeks in China. *sigh* This is a real bummer.
THE UGLY - I used to think Toronto was one of the cleanest cities I have ever seen. (Next to Singapore) I still believe this with one exception. Currently, the garbage workers are on strike. The trash is piling up and it isn't pretty. The strike has gone on for over a month and it doesn't look like there will be an end in sight. Today, the union threatened to walk out of negotiations if there weren't any concessions put on the table from management. I pity this town. The healthcare workers are starting to be concerned that a rat problem might develop in the near future. I'm ready to come home. It stinks.
