I love Facebook. Because of this website, I have already found five friends from when I was in college. Last week, my roommate Viet wrote to me on Facebook and I was really surprised. Of course, we had to meet up.
Did you know that I haven't been to a baseball game this year? This is strange behavior for me, but I've been in many foreign countries this season and I haven't had enough time. So, I recommended to Viet that we got together to go to a Nationals game in Washington. (He lives there now) Unfortunately, my other friends couldn't come today. They wanted to go to the a game later in August, but I will be in China and can't)
The Nationals won the game which I think is a miracle. Of course, they only beat the Padres which are almost as bad as they are. I don't care. Viet and I spent the time chatting together and only watched the game when something happenned. I was surprised to fine that his hobby nowadays in motorcycles. He owns an Italian Ducati which he drives. (I won't tell you his nickname for the vehicle, but it is appropriate) Anyway, the bike purrs like a kitten and it is a beautiful machine.
After the game, we met Steph and Mark (her husband). This is my first time to meet Mark and he is a great guy. We had dinner at a French restaurant which Viet knows and I didn't go home until 10:00. Of course, I woke up in the next morning with a huge headache and didn't go to work. It doesn't matter. Tuesday, I will travel to China.
