Hoy es un día normal
Pero yo voy hacerlo intenso
~Juanes
My company asked me to go down to Maryland this morning to visit a customer. Pretty normal stuff until I pulled away from the house and the clutch went out in the car. It's not as serious as it sounds. It was just the slave cylinder, but it rendered me useless. My boss convinced one of my coworkers to drive to Steelton and pick me up. (if you're reading this, thanks a lot guys. I appreciate it) So, I arrived at work a few hours later than intended and took the company car.
I drove down to Maryland, got their problem straightened out, and called to tell my company I was coming home. On the way, they asked me if I wouldn't mind going to Albany, NY tomorrow. It seemed like a plan, but I couldn't see driving home, driving back down to the shop to switch cars, driving home again, and then going to the airport in the morning. It didn't make sense. I decided to drive straight to Albany.
I know you all heard about the snow in the Poconos. Well, I saw very little of it. It was pretty cold, but I came up through New Jersey and didn't get any snow. You could see a little snow on top of the mountains, but that was all. I spent the 7 hour drive listening to Juanes and Jimmy Buffet. Thinking about the tropics warms you up.
Of course, the major story in the Catskills is the leaves. The colors are so incredibly intense that I just had post a photo. This is the time of year to go leaf watching.
